Salt Lake Valley Buick GMC

My husband and I flew from the Oregon Coast to buy a truck because it checked every box. We literally could not find what we were looking for anywhere West of Salt Lake. Crazy… Justin was our sales guy and he was fantastic. Very genuine and humble man. He never rushed us through the buying process and kept in contact with my husband while we were in the “looking stage.” When we flew out there, Justin got all the paperwork together ahead of time and had everything ready because he knew we had a long drive home. Mike in finance was also very kind, knowledgable, and actually helped save us some money in the long run. At the end of the day, finding service like this is rare. My husband and I both agreed that we will only purchase our vehicles from them from now on. Yes, it takes time to travel back and forth from Oregon but their consideration of our time, stellar communication, and just down-right friendliness is worth it.

Bought a truck a little over a month ago, Justin was my salesman answered all my questions was a very pleasant experience overall with him. Only issue I had was when I went to sign the financing papers (Mike), I was rushed through the process. When I asked about "gap insurance" the "key replacement insurance" I was told they had to have them on there and if in a couple months I don't want/need them just to come in and get them taken off. this is not the case you have only 30 days to cancel. When I asked more questions, I was told its standard on all vehicles they sell. I guess I should have taken more time to read the fine print where it says it is optional and not needed to complete the purchase. Overall, it was more than a $1,000 up charge that was not needed and was never explained. would like a more upfront explanation from a car dealership selling $70,000 vehicles. overall Sales team was great wish finance team held to the standard.

Went to have my truck serviced and I have had a check engine light come on a go off 2 times I ask them to check it. The service writer checked the for codes and showed me I asked what it was he said google it. He was no help at all if I needed to schedule an appointment. He did say I would have leave my truck so I had skin in the game. So after almost 3 years of loyaltie I will be moving on to an another dealer. Also sent a email to the service manager he said he would call me. No call. Also the service writer said a you new I can’t find you in the system. Very disappointed

A+++ Service. Big Thanks to Salt Lake Valley GMC, and especially Dan, for getting me back on the road. I had a hole in my forced air line and was going to be stranded during my drive from CA to Denver. Even though they were booked up for a week they got me in quickly and made the repairs. I was back on the road in only a few hours.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. You feel like you are a part of the family. Serenity helped my learn about my new Buick. Helped my learn the app. And all the fun things my Buick will do. And then they drove my rental car for me back to enterprise. I would definitely go here again for a new vehicle. They made it go quickly and they welcome you with warm happy smiles. A wonderful place to shop.
